Control Who Gets In —
From Any Door, Any Location.
A key under the mat or a code on the wall isn't access control — it's a liability. Alpine IT installs UniFi Access commercial door systems with seven unlock methods, full audit logs, camera integration, and remote management built in from day one.
Physical Keys Give You No Visibility, No Control, and No Audit Trail.
When an employee leaves, how many keys are out there? Who has a copy? Can you tell when someone entered at 11pm? Can you revoke access the moment someone is terminated — without rekeying your entire building?
Traditional key-based access creates gaps that grow with your business. Shared codes get passed around. Lost keycards from legacy systems require expensive re-programming. And when something goes wrong, you have no record of who was where and when.
UniFi Access eliminates these problems. Every entry attempt — successful or failed — is logged. Access can be granted or revoked instantly from a phone. Schedules restrict access by time. And the system integrates directly with your cameras so you can see who triggered an event the moment it happens.
UL 294-Compliant. UniFi Access hardware meets UL 294, the standard for access control units — the same certification required by commercial insurance and compliance frameworks.
Every entry, every exit, every failed attempt — timestamped and tied to a specific credential or person.
Grant, revoke, or modify access for any person from anywhere — immediately, from your phone.
Contractors only during business hours. Cleaning crew on Tuesday and Thursday evenings only. Granular scheduling with zero manual effort.
UniFi Access is locally hosted. No per-door fees, no cloud subscription required to manage your own building.
One System. Every Credential Type Your Business Needs.
UniFi Access supports more unlock methods than any competitor in its class — without requiring separate hardware for each. You choose which methods are active per door, per user, per time of day.
Readers, Hubs, and Controllers for Every Door Type.
Alpine IT selects the right hardware combination for your specific entry points — standard doors, server room doors, gates, elevators, and enterprise-scale deployments.
UA-Reader-Pro / G2 Pro
The standard commercial door reader. Supports NFC, face unlock, PIN, mobile app, and handwave. Built-in display shows door status and access feedback. Suitable for most front-door and office entry applications.
UA-Reader-Lite
A smaller form factor reader for interior doors, server room access, or secondary entry points where space is a constraint. Supports NFC and mobile credentials.
UA-Hub-Gate / UA-Hub-Elevator
Purpose-built controllers for parking gates, exterior access gates, and elevator floor access. The Gate Hub integrates directly with UniFi Protect cameras for LPR-triggered gate automation — vehicle recognized, gate opens.
UA-Hub-Enterprise
For large facilities with high door counts. Supports more simultaneous connections, higher-volume access events, and integration with larger Protect camera deployments. Scales to multi-building campuses.
Access Events Linked Directly to Camera Footage.
UniFi Access and UniFi Protect are designed to work together. When an access event occurs — successful entry, failed attempt, or door forced open — the system can automatically pull the corresponding camera clip.
You don't have to scrub through footage looking for a specific timestamp. The access log links directly to the video. One click shows you who was at the door, from the camera positioned right above it.
For parking and gate applications, UniFi Protect's License Plate Recognition (LPR) can trigger the access hub automatically — a registered vehicle pulls up, the camera reads the plate, and the gate opens. No keycard, no phone required.
One Portal, One Login. Access control events, camera footage, network status, and Wi-Fi — all managed from a single UniFi dashboard. No switching between apps or systems.
Auto Clip Pull
Access events automatically link to the camera recording at that exact moment.
LPR Gate Trigger
License plate recognition opens gates for registered vehicles automatically.
Forced Door Alerts
Forced entry or propped doors trigger instant alerts with simultaneous camera capture.
Full Audit Log
Every event logged with person, time, door, and credential used — exportable for compliance.
From Assessment to Active — Fully Configured.
